Devotional Thought:
The concept of spiritual warfare is deeply embedded in scripture, teaching us that two opposing kingdoms—the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness—are constantly at battle. The Apostle Paul makes this clear in Ephesians 6:12, where he writes, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
This battle manifests in our daily lives through temptation, struggles, and the constant tension between living for God's kingdom or succumbing to worldly desires. Jesus, our ultimate warrior and King, calls us to put on the full armor of God so that we may stand firm against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:13).
Victory in this war is not achieved by our strength but through Christ’s power and truth. As followers of Christ, we are not just spectators in this spiritual conflict but active participants, called to wage war through prayer, truth, righteousness, and the Word of God.
Let us be reminded that in this ongoing battle, we are equipped with divine power and that, in Christ, the victory has already been secured.
