Devotional Thought:
In the Book of Acts, Luke presents a powerful historical account of the early church, depicting a story of faith, evangelism, sacrifice, and deep compassion. The early Christians not only embraced the teachings of Jesus but also allowed the Holy Spirit to work through them, spreading the Gospel across continents, meeting the needs of the poor, and transforming countless lives. This story is one of guidance, growth, and a profound call to action. It invites every believer to ask: “Am I part of this story? Am I allowing the Holy Spirit to work through me, just as He did through them?”
The remarkable story of the early church is not just history—it’s an invitation. As the Holy Spirit worked through ordinary people to change the world, so He desires to work through us today. We are called to carry on the legacy of compassion, generosity, and mission that defined the early church. Just as the Holy Spirit empowered the first Christians, He empowers us to live out our faith in transformative ways that impact not only our local communities but people around the world. Today, God is still writing His story, and He invites each of us to join Him in the story He is writing here at ONE&ALL.
